LUX* Belle Mare Resort & Villas

An absolutely fantastic experience . Hotel is truly 5 stars. Facilities are new and shiny. Staff are very helpful and nice. Everybody speaks perfect English. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable.Food is great with many options . Beach is drop dead gorgeous with blue clean water , golden sand and palm trees. Loads of beach chairs available. I even saw staff cleaning the beach , amazing. Loads of entertainment . Free English Premier League live games on TV which is absolutely out of this world. Over all : just WOW . Wi Fi is super fast and reliable. Well done Lux Belle Mare , I will definitely come back.

All the Staff were fabulous without exception. Meals and facilities were all outstanding. Jennifer as customer relations was very helpful to us, thank you so much. We really enjoyed our stay, great beach and pool, we also made good use of the watersports center where the staff were friendly, and equipment was good.

I am a solo traveler and a hospitality expert myself. I have been to thousands of hotels across the planet and Lux* Belle Mare was a wonderful discovery. Great is just not enough to define this place and its staff. I was traveling alone and felt welcomed from the very first second and until end of my stay ( 6 nights). The hotel design will blow your mind away, it’s just modern and beautiful. A truly relaxing place with a sensational spa and amazing therapists. A super nice gym and also a book and tea room where you can relax. The little lake with the fishes and the beautiful rooms, the beach and the fast personalized service.The Food is just everywhere excellent and most important, every single person of the staff in this hotel is highly professional and kind that you will just feel at home. I wanted to extend but the hotel was fully booked and I was truly sad to leave this paradise. I am in love with this hotel which is family friendly and also couple friendly. For solo travelers there is not much entertainment however if you are a solo traveler you can enjoy the spa and live music at the bar. The best hotel in Mauritius ( I tried 4 hotels 5 start on the island including lux* le morne, but Lux* Belle Mare is a way better under every point of view). I believe that Le Morne has a big potential but the hotel is not on the level of Belle Mare regarding service and food quality. I have had the good fortune to visit Mauritius on 3 prior occasions. For my recent family vacation, and 4th trip to the island, we chose Lux Belle Mare, a fabulous resort located on the east coast. We stayed in the Pool Suite for 3 nights and the Prestigious Villa for the next 3 nights. My family and I had a delightful and memorable week at Lux and were really impressed with so many great aspects of this wonderful resort. We enjoyed the warm and welcoming hospitality, the assistance and dedication of all the staff, and the facilities and restaurants. I personally enjoyed the wide buffet selection as well as the dessert counter. The desserts were truly unique and delightful. We were wowed every night with the special desserts available, especially on Easter Sunday! One would have to try really hard to find anything to fault at Lux Belle Mare, especially at the villa. It was large and luxurious in detail, and well maintained. All needs were carefully and promptly taken care. There is no doubt in my mind that when I visit the island again, Lux will be my destination. If you are thinking of Lux as one of your options, I would recommend that you don't think twice - you won't be disappointed! Special acknowledgement to the resort managers Umesh, Suren and Leelesh, as well wonderful assistance received from Jennifer for my wife's birthday celebrations, Gopi for travel logistics and assistance from Rao during our stay at the villa. The staff were so helpful and kind. This was consistent across, there isn’t a single person we came across that was different. Thank you to everyone at Grand Gaube for making our stay so very memorable. I would also like to send a heartfelt thank you to Mr Mario and Anasia. Mr Mario lead with heart and took immediate liking to my two little boys. He made a wooden pen for my eldest and a boat for my little Thori, we also made a dodo from old slippers. I’ve never experienced such kindness, Mauritian people are the best. I would recommend the resort again and again. I look foreward to going back and creating wonderful memories with my family again.
